Pre-flown PS3 Devices for Sale

Pacific Simulators have added pre-flown flight simulators to their inventory, in the form of their PS3 device.

The PS3 provides a high-fidelity simulator environment based on the Boeing 737NG. Its features include a 180 degree visual system which accurately renders day, night, dawn, dusk, along with selectable special effects such as fog, haze and sun glare. Airport lighting detail includes taxiway markings, runway edge, runway centreline, taxiway lighting, runway heading indicators, touchdown zone, threshold markings, approach guidance lighting and approach lead-in lighting.

It is a fixed base, glass, fully enclosed cockpit with full functioning flight deck systems, including MCP, FMC/CDU, AFDS and GPWS.

Pacific Simulators CEO Bill Highet said that their pre-flown devices will allow a new market to participate in the simulator industry.

The simulators are also certified by some Civil Aviation Authorities to allow commercial pilots to log hours in a number of procedures.
